Midi recording on one track always shows the midi recording of another track

Two issues here:
Firstly, to have the Piano Roll 'follow' the selected regions you need to enable the Content Link function
Second:
If you wish to 'realtime' record MIDI in the main Tracks area, you do NOT need to create an empty MIDI region first
