Uninstalling Adobe Acrobat and Creative Pro on M1 MacBook Pro after exploitation

I purchased and installed Acrobat Pro on my M1 MacBook Pro. Within a day or two I had ten instances of Adobe Creative Cloud, got the multicolor spinning wheel (never ever have seen that on my Mac until then), and my MacOS was exploited. What else? How do I make sure all other instances of Adobe Acrobat or Creative Pro are addressed? I uninstalled Acrobat and Creative, but due to this experience I am wary of what has been left behind. My color spirals have stopped, which is a good thing.
