Hello. I bought an iPhone 12 from a person whose Apple ID was locked. Now I don't have access to that person . I don't have access to their Apple ID account. I only have the phone box with a warranty card. How can I remove that person's Apple ID so that I can enter my own Apple ID? The phone is also locked on activation. Please help me.

Then they say, “We tried our best. Sorry, no refunds.”
Take this as a somewhat costly learning experience, but don’t send more good money after bad.

All are scams. You never want to include a phone number. The reason is that Google scrapes web pages to pick out keywords. You would not want them to associate Activation Lock Removal with the phone number you provided and include that in a Google search result, especially now that they use Gemini AI to provide summaries on the top of the search page. Too many people have fell for the fake tech support scams where a Google search revealed a scammers number and Google takes no responsibility for their actions.
