iOS 26: Multiple clicks required to close apps with X in upper left corner on iPad

After installing on my iPad whenever I open anything that has a X to close out a window in the upper left corner I have to hit it multiple times and the app closes. Doesn’t do it if the X is in the upper right corner. Very annoying
