Urgent assistance needed for a stolen iPhone after falling victim to a phishing scam

I lost my iPhone, and unfortunately, I fell victim to a phishing scam. I received a message claiming that my phone’s location could be tracked, and I entered my Apple ID password and device passcode on the link provided. As a result, the scammer now appears to have access to my device and has disabled “Find My iPhone.” With Find My iPhone disabled, I can no longer locate, lock, or erase my device remotely. I am concerned that my personal data, accounts, and linked payment methods may be at risk. I am requesting urgent assistance to secure my Apple ID, prevent unauthorized access to my accounts, and understand what steps I can take to protect my information and recover control over my device.

Unfortunately while your iPhone can now be erased and setup by the crooks, if you had a passcode set on the iPhone the thieves cannot access your data. In order for them to setup your iPhone they would need to erase it beforehand, which would remove all your data on it.

In the meantime, change your Apple Account passcode so none more than your device gets compromised.

immediately go to another device, go to Apple find my on safari, then just enter your Apple ID account, and then instead of just typing your password (in case it’s changed), scroll down and you will find a button that says LOST PHONE or FIND MY. Press it and it will get you there! Press on your lost device, and press Lost mode! Nobody can access anything but just the clock. It’s very safe, because to unlock it, you must enter your iPhone passcode, then Face ID, and wait 1 hour to fully unlock! Report this also to Apple and the police!

Nope that will not work either if they have already removed the phone's activation lock (which they eill have)

Hopefully they only want the phone. If they changed thr Apple account password then the OP has lost their entire iCloud access, documents, photos...
