Macbook Air M4 MagSafe 3

My MacBook Air M4 is unable to charge when connected to the power adapter and MagSafe 3 cable. Cable keeps on blinking orange.

But I'm able to charge the MacBook using the type c cable with the same power adapter.

what is the possible issue? cable issue? MagSafe charging port issue?
