Logic pro 11 has the colored pizza again

When I just make a Command+Z the colored pizza appears and I must wait about five minutes to continue my work...

M4 MAX with 128Go of RAM with 90Go Free

What is the problem ????

The project was stored on an external drive in thunderbolt and the project was corrupted.

I said 5-10 minutes but, in fact it couldn’t be reloaded at all.

I found a backup and changed the projectdata in the logicx container and I could reload the project with 2 hours of work lost but I could quickly make it even better.

But before working and reloading it, I copied it in the internal SSD.

It works fine now.

Have you rebooted the computer lately?

That's the first step in troubleshooting.

Are your Logic projects saved on the internal or an external drive?

Do you have many external devices connected to your Mac?

You can start troubleshooting by disconnecting them all, then reconnecting them, one at a time, to see if that affects the problem.

Have you installed any sort of cleanup, anti-virus or optimizing software? These may cause severe performance problems. Disable, or better yet, uninstall them and see what happens.

If you aren't backing up your stuff then you're asking for trouble. Your "weeks and weeks of work" are in ire jeopardy without a backup (or two). Back up your Mac with Time Machine - Apple Support
