I used to have my apps organized in folders, grouped by how I used them. For example, I had MS Office applications grouped together.
With Mac OS26, I find it difficult to find the programs I need when I need them. This is, perhaps, the biggest frustration I have with the upgrade, aside from the hotspot popup that never seems to go away, ever, not matter how many times I click off.

macOS organizes the apps, you cannot manually sort them. To have Apple consider your feedback on this issue, submit it here:

Change the " Recent documents, applications, and servers " from what it is now to a number that is greater - like 50
