Tapping keys on iPhone 14 with arthritic fingers

I am struggling to hit the keys on my phone as they are small and my fingers often swell with arthritis. Is there some sort of tool I can use to hit one key instead of two every time?

iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 18

While the keyboard size itself can’t be increased system-wide, you can make elements easier to see and press:

  • Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Display Zoom > Larger Text and choose “Larger”.
  • You can also go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size and enable Bold Text.

Or you can use voice input.

You can speak your messages or notes instead of typing:

  • Tap the microphone icon on the keyboard and start talking.
  • You can say punctuation commands such as “period” or “new line.
