Before Tahoe my second display would come on with my primary. After updating to Tahoe it stays black until I login and the progress bar completes. Then everything is back to normal. Anyone know why?

Tahoe enabled FileVault by default, and FileVault requires your login password as part of the key to decrypt the internal storage and complete the boot up process.
You can disable FileVault in System Settings > Privacy & Security > FileVault.

I was aware that it was enabled by default, but I was not aware of the effects that it would have on my mac.
I have had many other quirks since upgrading that I thought were bugs, but now I wonder if that was the cause. I am going to put it through its paces and see if they are cleared up.
