Emergency SOS - Wrong Number

Hi,

The emergency SOS feature on my iPhone gives a list of three foreign numbers instead of letting me call the UK one (999). I have my region in settings and App Store region both set to UK.

Apple support could only suggest clearing my network settings but I don’t want the hassle of having to reenter multiple WiFi passwords, does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks

iPhone 16, iOS 18

When Emergency SOS is triggered by pressing and holding the side and volume buttons or pressing the side button multiple times your iPhone first determines the active region. It then automatically places a call to that region’s official emergency response number using carrier and location data. The user has no ability to alter or assign this number manually.
