How to revert Safari bookmarks display and fix order in macOS?

A recent macOS update has change how Safari bookmarks are displayed in the sidebar.

1. Instead of a simple small bookmark there is now a large icon. Can this be reverted back to the way it was?
2. The bookmarks aren't shown in the same order as Edit Bookmarks. How can I fix the order?
