When I try to hold the left-click to select something it clears before I finish most of the times. It's happening in all apps. It's been a nightmare to work like this in photoshop

I would compare that to the built in track pad— this may be telling.

Forget the mouse and add it back in using the cable connection if you have an issue.

See if Logitech has updated software/drivers for Tahoe.
Well, I use a Logitech mouse with their USB dongle without any problem with my M3 iMac. I don't use a mouse with my M1 MBA but I've had no problems selecting with the Trackpad.
Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally. Sometimes that will fix anomalies.

Are you using an Apple mouse or something else?
It's a logitech mx mouse but this is happening even with the trackpad
Speaking of, v. 1.96.781095 is the current version of Logi Options+.
I'm having problems holding a selection with the mouse since I uploaded to Tahoe. Any ideas on how to fix that?
