So im studying mathmatic for an upcoming test, and my iphone is solving wrongfully.
1,03*24500 is not 73500.. excuse me? its 25235.. Any explanation? becuz **** i used to trust the keyboard before this💀🙏🏻 it’s not selecting the whole equation, if i didn’t know math i would be ruined😬
Check the region of your device at Settings > General > Language & Region. Also verify the Number Format on that page. Then go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards, and make sure the language is one that matches.
With the US Region and Language for the Keyboard, a comma is not selected as it denotes a separate operation unless it is followed by 3 digits to denote a number. The decimal separator that is selected is denoted by the "." character instead of the "," character. Everything works correctly for the selections of math numbers with the US Region and the appropriate language for the Keyboard. In the US "3,89" would result in a selection of "89" as "3,89" is not a number. Whereas "3.89" would select the entire number, just as "100,000" would select the entire number since there are 3 digits following the comma.
If t is not working correctly for you and the Region and Language of the Keyboard is set correctly, then you can turn off the Math Results for the Keyboard by going to the Settings page noted above and also send Feedback to Apple here. For the Feedback Type I would choose Bug Report and also specify what you have selected for your Language & Region, including what you are using for your Keyboard Language. That way they can test the operation themselves where they would see the comma separator not being selected when it is used as a decimal for your language. It may just be the case of a feature that is not supported in your Language/Region:

The Math Results feature in Notes can indeed give sometimes unpredictable results when it attempts to perform standard math operations on alpha-numeric text which doesn’t necessarily adhere to the “standard.”

You can turn “off” Math Results by clicking More (3 dots) at the top of the note.
First, it’s mathematics.
Second, that’s not the calculator app providing the answer.
Third, you didn’t completely highlight the math formula so it thinks you mean 3*24500.
Only mistakes seem to be by you.

Respectfully do you know what you are talking about or just assuming? It automatically highlights by its self, i cannot do anything about it. How about it try it yourself?
Why have an unfunctioning feature that deceives for people to use if you are to tell me “it’s not calculator app” ?
If you’re doing math … use a calculator.
