Believe I have been hacked

I have recently received an email from my own email saying they have access to all my personal details

Delete it and move on with your day.

Yeah, there are a whole pile of scam mails akin to the "pervert" email, which is a creatively-written fictional solicitation for free money.


And "pervert" was spoofing your address as the "sending" address, which is trivial to do and not an indication of a hack or of any compromise.


No actual exploits were involved, and no compromising photos were collected.


If the "pervert" senders or the other email scams with similar claims actually have compromising photos, they will want to show you some of those photos, too.
