IOS26: Disappearing safari address bar

With the compact address bar selected and websites automatically loading in reader mode (I'm not sure if that's relevant) since installing IOS26 my address bar frequently disappears and no amount of swiping/tapping/other gestures can get it back, making navigation impossible. I have to close safari and reopen it. Anyone else having this issue? If it makes a difference this happens sporadically, no specific websites and going away from the compact navigation bar has seemed to fix it, but I preferred compact.
