Since after the MacOS Tahoe 26 update, whenever my MacBook wakes, or when I open the lid, I am prompted to enter my password, instead of being able to use my fingerprint for unlocking. It seems I need to first wait for a minute or so before this function is available.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

This has been reported several times for Intel Macs (on Tahoe and Sequoia 15.7), and hopefully will be fixed with the next macOS update.
