getting stuck in safari MacBook with wierd corner glitch

On my MacBook, I’m seeing this weird glitch where the three buttons for window editing are there, but there’s this odd corner that looks like a bunch of tiles behind it. I’m only using one window, and I have to hit Command Control to get out of this mess. It only happens when I’m in fullscreen mode.
