Apple's 'save live captions' feature records calls without notifying users

Apple hides the use of the microphone and that calls will be recorded when "save live captions" is on. Apple must show users in setting that this is the case so we know how to stop calls from being recorded.

Calls are recorded when "save live captions" is on but Apple doesn't notify us of that and the microphone being used does not show "live caption" in a list,.

Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response.

Wondering if the article below can help put you in control of call-recording.

There's a third-party (non-Apple) article online that explains the recording process and how to stop it if you do not want the call recorded. Seems the icon that shows the call is being recorded is different from the microphone icon, and a notice onscreen advises the call will be recorded before recording starts, allowing it to be turned off ... more details and illustration of the icon (scroll down) in the article.:
