I am planning on buying an iPad Pro 13
The idea is to shift from using MacBook pro to iPad as I don't have a desk job and carrying my laptop with me everywhere becomes annoying

O.k, and ... do you have a question?
Do note, the iPad Pro with a keyboard, is not that much lighter or less cumbersome than a Mac of similar size, so you won't really be gaining much.
But you will be losing the more powerful and functional macOS.
Shopping advice is a tricky subject because it’s going to be a personal decision.
I would simply advise to pick a day of the week or weekend that works for you, then visit your local Apple Retail Store.
No one (especially a stranger on the Internet) can tell you what would be a perfect fit.
Older models go on sale on Black Friday.
Good luck! 👋🏼😉

I just noticed my whole question was not posted. Am not sure if i should go ahead and buy nano texture iPad or the standard glass iPad.
I agree with you about loosing power, but when am not on my desk I wouldn’t be carrying the keyboard with me. Also, I don't really use heavy apps so I wouldn’t need a powerful device such as MacBook Pro
Nano texture is in my view more of a gimmick than a useful feature. It just makes the iPad less reflective.
If you can go into an Apple Store and see the actual difference, they should have a few examples of the screen types there.
Thanks a lot 😊
