2fa chrome autofill not working

After upgrading to macos 26 Chrome was autofilling 2FA codes. Now it all of a sudden stopped. How do I fix this?

Chrome is up to date

Version 143.0.7499.4 (Official Build) beta (arm64)

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 26.0
