How can i scan my iphone 14 pro max for malware or monitoring software

Someone has been harassing & stalking me & I’m concerned & want to check that there is no malware or monitoring on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. How do I scan for this?

I have done a full factory reset already, but restored from my backup so am concerned that if there was/is something on my phone it could have been in my backups too. I am also considering buying a new iPhone but again I’m worried about anything being in my backups as obviously that’s how all my info would go across to a new iPhone

If you already did a factory reset, your iPhone itself is clean — Apple’s system doesn’t allow true malware or monitoring apps outside of jailbroken devices. However, if you restored from a backup, some configuration profiles or settings could carry over.

To be safe:

Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management — make sure no unknown profiles or device management entries are installed.

Avoid restoring from old backups if you suspect something was compromised. Set up your iPhone as new instead.

Keep iOS updated and don’t install apps outside the App Store.

You can also use Apple Support → Diagnostics (they can run a remote scan for system issues).

If harassment continues, consider changing your Apple ID password and enabling two-factor authentication for extra security.
