Arranging windows on a vertical (portrait orientation) screen

I frequently use the "arrange windows" options that pop up from the green button in the top left corner of application windows. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:



These options work well on monitors that are in "landscape position" but not so well on monitors that are in "portrait position" like the one at the left in this screen shot:



Is there any way to change the "Left of screen" and "Right of screen" options in the first screen shot above so that, for the leftmost monitor, they become "Top of screen" and "Bottom of screen" ?
