how to disable the glass effect for the clock on the Lock Screen of macOS?
There is no option to change the appearance of clock on the lock screen, like on the iPhone, where you can switch between Glass/Solid.

All you can do is adjust the 'weight' (boldness) of the numbers or turn it off in System Settings > Wallpaper > Clock Appearance button.
Reportedly, macOS 26.1 (due out very soon) offers options to alter the Liquid Glass UI, so I'd say wait for that to drop and see what happens. If no change, to have Apple consider your feedback, submit it here:
Thanks, but adjusting the weight still keeps the liquid glass effect on, and personally I feel increasing it, makes it worser than before.
Will wait for the update!
I can't see the problem, but since it bothers you so much, you may perhaps just turn it off.
How long do you spend looking at the lock screen, anyway?
lol, yes I have turned it off. Thanks for the advice
