I cant see the ios 26.1 update.

Went to Settings>General>Software Update, and all I get is a spinning wheel.

On an iPhone 16 Pro Max running 26.01. This has been consistent response for almost 24 hours. I’ve tried restarting phone.

Millions of users are trying to update at this time. Some of them.....me included as well as my wife....are likely seeing an indication of overloaded servers.

It would not hurt to do a Forced Restart though, if only for the reason that you haven't done this is in some time. It's not the same as simply restarting your phone.

If you haven't tried it; then connect your iPhone to a charger, restart your iPhone, connect to WiFi. Try to see if you see the update in Settings > General > Software Update. The update IS available for your iPhone 16 Pro Max, so you should be able to see it. There may be a wait as some people are updating their iPhone right now.

If you have a PC or Mac, you can also update that way:

I installed the software update 26.1 last night.

Turned on my phone this morning and have been really struggling all day with all the changes. It’s driving me insane. 🤦‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😱🤬😡 I absolutely HATE this update, I’ve tried to revert back to how it was and cannot do that. I strongly advise anyone struggling to install the latest software update 26.1

DON’T BOTHER

A.I. is being forced upon all iPhone users under the pretence of “fixing bugs etc.”

I cant see the ios 26.1 update.
