EarPods microphone switching to iPhone speaker during video recording on iPhone

When connecting EarPods, everything is fine, the sound, microphone, everything works. But I can't just record a video. The microphone switches to the iPhone speaker, but I don't want to. When I purposefully selected the EarPods (usb-c) microphone, the video simply did not record.
