Bug in Mac OS 26.0.1
Files in Finder cannot be dragged into other folders or attached to emails, only through copy function to do this action, it is a big bug need to resolve.

I cannot reproduce it, drag-and-drop worked normally for me on 26.0.1 and still does on 26.1. If the update doesn't correct your problem, see if the problem is present when you boot in safe mode, which disables 3rd party extensions and performs some system cleanup.
