Hello,
I updated my operating system yesterday to 26.1 and Safari is not downloading files. I noticed this with Version 26 as well. Is there something I can do to fix this? I am able to download with Chrome but Safari is my default web browser. Any help would be appreciated.

In Safari > Safari menu > Preferences > General tab, what is set as the File download location, and have you looked there for your downloaded files?
Thank you. I tried restarting in Safe Mode and that seemed to help afterwards. Much appreciated.
Sounds like it may have something to do with Dropbox. Try testing while in Safe Mode.

My settings are the same as yours.
When I try the download arrow it either does nothing, or sometimes it's says it's downloading but the downloads are nowhere to be found. I HAVE looked.
This is the message I got from Dropbox this morning, but nothing ever downloaded. It works in Chrome however.
Downloading files from where? What happens when you try? Works fine here.
