Since the Tahoe 26.1 update, my lock screen enables every 5 minutes. This is also happening on my colleague's computer, which was updated to the Tahoe 26.1.
I have changed the settings for both the display on battery, and display on power adapter to both 1 hour, but it still comes on at 5 minutes.
I need my display on longer than 5 minutes.

Is your Mac provided/managed by an organization (work/school)? Check System Settings > General > Device Management, are there any Profiles installed?
If not, see if you can change the setting when you boot in safe mode, which disables 3rd party extensions and performs some system cleanup.
Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support
Then reboot normally and see if it 'sticks'.

Lock Screen or screen saver? They are different. The screen saver delay is set in System Settings > Wallpaper > Screen Saver... button.
Change the time for "Turn display off when inactive" in System Settings > Lock Screen.
It's probably one or both of the places that neuroanatomist and dialabrain already mentioned, so check those first; in the unlikely case that the problem persists, or just in case, check also:
System Settings->Privacy & Security->Advanced... and make sure that "Logout after inactivity" is turned off, or is turned on with a big enough delay.
Thank you for this, I have tried changing the time for the screensaver as you have shown, however, the Start Screen Saver "After 5 minutes" is greyed out, and unable to click on this.
I didn't know about this setting, but just looked at this also.
It is set to Log out automatically after inactivity, and is set to 60 minutes.
I appreciate your input, willing to try it all.
