Battery Swelling and Display Issue in My iPhone

Hello Apple Support Team,

I am facing a serious issue with my iPhone. The battery of my device has started swelling, and because of that I need to charge it frequently. It also turns off automatically, and recently, lines have started appearing on the internal display.

I have never opened or repaired my iPhone from any outside technician. It has always been used carefully, and I still have the original purchase bill.

This issue is causing me a lot of trouble in my daily life, as I am a working woman and rely on my phone for work and to stay connected with my family. I request your team to please fix this issue urgently and provide support at the nearest authorised Apple Service Centre.

Since this appears to be a manufacturing or battery fault, I request that the repair be done without any additional cost.

Please also make sure that my data remains exactly the same after the repair — I cannot afford to lose any files, photos, or contacts. I will carry my backup, but I kindly request you to restore my phone in the same condition once it is repaired.

Thank you for your time and support. I hope to receive your quick and positive response.

Warm regards,

Roshni Sharma

This is not the Apple Support team, this is a user to user forum.

If your battery is swelling, you need to stop using your phone immediately and whatever you do, stop trying recharge it. Continued usage and charging could lead to a fire.

Your iPhone 13 is well out of warranty and won't be repaired for free, it will cost you approx $99. And you may be paying more for a new screen as well as it sounds like the battery may have warped the screen and damaged it.

There is no guarantee that your data will remain in tact. If it's that important to you, then you should be making backups. Apple is not responsible for your data or restoration, you are.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have the battery replaced.
