Are you referring to the bug that was in Mac OS 15.7.1 and was resolved in Mac OS 15.7.2 or something else.

That was an issue for my 2019 MacBook Pro where there was a delay before you could login in with Touch ID, but that is no longer the case with 15.7.2.

Hi,

The most modern MacBook Pros are startup when you lid open.

• Are you updated to Mac OS 15.7.2?
• If not, what Mac OS version are you using?

I am assuming the issue is you have to wait about 5 seconds before you see the Touch ID prompt to allow you to log in, although I am not quite sure from the post.
