why does quick sampler create many duplicate samples in subfolders
When you create subfolders for the different sample types Quick Sampler will create a sample subfolder with samples that are not even of the folder type. This is really frustrating as there ends up being loads of subfolders with duplicate samples taking up useless space. As you can see in the screenshot below there are not many Synth Patches but loads of samples most of which are from the Brass Falls folder. Why?
Only 7 Patches and yet so many samples duplicated from another folder entirely. These are all from the Falls Folder as well. You create a new subfolder, save a patch and Logic creates a subfolder with irrelevant sample files in it.
Hope someone understands why this happens as it is so frustrating. Ready to give up on Quick Sampler if Logic cannot handle file management properly. One patch should be one sample only.
