Discrepancy in warranty dates — Apple website shows 10/20/2026; iOS shows 10/29/2026 (same pair activated on 10/21/2025)

Hello,

Technical report and request for help/clarification:

• Product: AirPods Pro 3

• Purchase date: October 20, 2025 First activation/pairing with iPhone: October 21, 2025.

• Check on the Apple website (Check Coverage): shows coverage until October 20, 2026 (screenshot attached).

• In Settings → Bluetooth → “i” for AirPods on the iPhone, the screen shows coverage until October 29, 2026 (screenshot attached).

I have already tried: unpairing/pairing again and restarting the iPhone — no change.

My questions are:

1. Which date is valid for coverage according to Apple (website vs. iOS)?

2. Is this 9-day discrepancy known? Is there a way to synchronize iOS to match the website date?

3. In the event of warranty service, which reference will Apple use?

Thank you — any Apple technician who consults this, please indicate the procedure to align the dates or officially confirm which one is valid for warranty purposes.

Good morning Johnathan,

Why the date difference? The iPhone created a future date, the 29th, when I paired them on the 21, immediately. If you click on this date (29), you are taken to the Apple website which shows the warranty correctly and exactly as I opened and paired them. I'm not concerned with the guarantee that this clear information on Apple's website is correctly aligned with the first use, but rather with iOS showing an incorrect date since October 21st, instantly taking me to the 29th in the future.

The question is, why did the iOS 26 on the iPhone 15 Pro Max assume a different date?

Thank You,
