I have 2 iPads and 1 iPhone, I want to delete on 1 iPad and leave the others intact.
If you are using the Apple Mail App - and your mail provider uses IMAP to access your mail account - visible email is synchronised via your provider's Mail Server. Deleting an email message from one device will automatically delete the same message from your other devices. This is how IMAP-mail works.
You would need to add the account as a POP account, instead of IMAP. That is the type of account that allows you to delete an email on one device where it does not affect the other. Check with your email provider, as they would specify how to add each type of account. Most still have the POP option as IMAP is now the most popular type of email account.
If you just want no mail at all on one of the devices, delete the email account on that device (the account, not the messages).
