When using Apple Maps in Tahoe 26.1, when I request directions to a location, the "loading" process keeps spinning, but never gives me a route or directions. I have tried restarting, but with no luck.

Update: This has something to do with My Location not being associated with my home address. Once I typed in my home address, I received directions and routing. I checked to make sure Location Services was turned on for Apple Maps, but somehow I have lost the link between My Location and my actual address.

Sporadically my Maps application loses track of "My Location". This has been going on for several OS versions. For me, if I simply click on the WiFi symbol on the menubar then "My Location" suddenly becomes known to Maps. So, this makes me ask: if you ask Maps to show your current location - via command-L or via the View menu, does it work?

I just took both actions and now and "My Location" is working again. I didn't notice if the blue location dot was there prior to using command-L, but it is there now and I am getting directions and routing again with "My Location" in the origin box.
Not sure which action did it, but thank you!
