MacBook Air fails to boot after update, stuck in internet recovery with error -1008F

So I updated my MacBook Air 2018 to the latest update and while editing some videos the Laptop shut down with me and that was it. Never passed the internet recovery mode from there. Tried a usb to boot up another macos and still forcing me into internet recovery and everytime it’s the same error message

that specific error means that you are trying to access Internet recovery with an inadequate or non existent internet connection.


are you attempting the download over wi-fi? when possible, you should perform macOS downloads with a wired ethernet connection. if this is not possible, (mac has no ethernet port) you should move the mac as close as possible to the router, and temporarily remove your other devices from the wi-fi. you need the most bandwidth going to the mac as you can get while downloading a macOS. I would trash the current macOS installer (if there is one) and start over.
