Apple Fitness Veterans Day challenge not awarding

I contacted support via their support chat and they advised me to make sure my watch and phone were both on the latest OS. My watch was, but the phone wasn’t, so I updated my phone and it’s still not there, so they told me to call this number: 1-800-275-2273. I haven’t called yet, but if any of you want to give it a try, go for it and report back on this thread if they’re able to provide a solution.

I’m in the US, so I’m not sure if that number will work outside the US, but I think Veteran’s Day is US only, anyway. Good luck!

I did a 60-min Zumba dance class + 15-min indoor walk on the 11th, recorded both with my Apple Watch, but never got the Veterans Day badge. My friend did a 30-min indoor bike ride (166 calories) and got it instantly — she didn't even know it was a challenge!

Everything else is syncing fine - 107-day streak, closing all rings, November challenge tracking perfectly. I also rebooted phone (13)/watch(7).

Checked the Apple forums and saw people complaining about this same glitch 8 years ago. Still not fixed?

I didn’t know that this had been an ongoing issue! I’ve used my Apple Watch for 3 years straight and it’s never happened before, but it just won’t update., turned off my watch and my iPhone for a complete reboot and it did nothing to fix!

this is the first time I’ve seen a problem that isn’t fixed. I’m really hoping that with all the online chatter that they will remedy this problem!!!

My husband and I are having the same issue. He did a two hour hike and I did two different exercise sessions and we don’t have the award. I’ve tried unpairing the watch etc and we still haven’t received our reward.

Mine appeared this morning, several hours after updating my IOS on my phone to 26.1.

I can’t be certain the iOS update was the issue or Apple fixed something else, but mine is there now. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up!

Edited to say that it did show up three days later on my second exercise for Veteran’s day, that was only 12 minutes long. The first exercise of that day was an hour and four minutes but it didn’t show up on that one. At least it’s there now.

Anyone know how to fix this??

I also did not receive the Veterans Day Challenge badge despite completing 3 activities with my Apple Watch each being more than 11 minutes. I have the AW8 and IPhone 17 Pro Max

I didn’t receive mine either after doing a 30 minute elliptical workout- I restarted my phone & it still didn’t show up. I have an iPhone 15 Plus & AW10

Same for me.

Mine did not update either.

Realize that this isn’t a big deal in the overall sense but I still want credit. I haven’t missed any and it’s kinda become thing.

Please fix this!

I understand what you mean, it feels petty to complain about something so small, but I have been collecting awards for 5 years, it’s kind of a thing for me too :-(

I also did several workouts throughout the day yesterday and was never awarded the Veteran’s Day Challenge badge. Are they going to fix it? It seems to be a common issue.

I hope they fix it…but who knows!

Same issue no reward for a 30 plus minute workout. It usually appears at the end of the day but nothing this year.
