Apple Mac Air Screen Issue

My laptop all of a sudden is not turning on, it was working perfectly fine, charging fine and had no issues whatsoever apart from a line coming down the screen which you can see in the picture, but that has been there for months on months and no issues. I went away for 2 weeks, haven’t used it, when I came back, the laptop screen just goes black, it turns on fine, charges fine but it’s just a black screen so I am

unable to use it. How much will this set me back?
