AirPods Pro constant hiss, random beep, weak ANC

AirPods Pro “3rd gen constant hiss/“whoosh” + random beep — unbearable on airplanes: Normal???

New pair. Since day one I hear a steady air-like hiss in quiet rooms and occasional high-pitched beeps. ANC feels weaker than expected. On airplanes the hiss is unbearable even with ANC on.

Tried: reset/re-pair, latest firmware, Ear Tip Fit Test (S/M/L), cleaned meshes, tested on iPhone 17 Pro Max and Mac. Store diagnostics passed; case already escalated.

Is this normal self-noise or a defect? Any setting that truly fixes it, or should I push for a replacement?
