AirPods Pro 3 appear as AirPods Pro after pairing

AirPods Pro 3 named just AirPods Pro?

Recently I purchased a pair of AirPods Pro 3s, when I paired them, the name of the AirPods was just “AirPods Pro” instead of the expected “AirPods Pro 3”. I was just wondering if this was normal. Thanks!
