Safari autofill triggers Formik onSubmit twice on iOS 26

We are facing a strange issue after upgrading to iOS 26. When selecting an OTP using Safari’s autofill option, the ReactJS form built with Formik lib triggers the onSubmit handler twice.

This does not happen when the OTP is entered manually. We have tested on iOS 26.0 & iOS 26.0.1, and the issue still occurs, but it seems to be fixed in iOS 26.1.

Is this a known issue, and has anyone else observed this behaviour?
