Photoshop will not open on Mac

In the /Applications/Adobe Photoshop 202*, and the /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folders, you'll find the alias, Uninstall Adobe Photoshop 202* (mine says 2026).

Uninstall PS and tell it to retain your settings. Then open the Creative Cloud app and reinstall it.

What Photoshop? There is Photoshop CC, which is working fine for me on macOS 26.1. There is also Photoshop Elements (with successive years appended). There have been reports of PSE 2026 not working on Tahoe, I don't know if that has been addressed.

Is Photoshop up to date? The current version seems to work for others.
