I just installed Logic Pro 11 and downloaded "All Available Sounds," but in the Library many instruments show they haven't downloaded. I cannot re-download them in the Download manager. The download arrow just makes Logic Pro freeze, which requires a Force Quit.

Try not to use download "All Available Sounds" but rather go to Logic pro > Sound Library > Open Sound Library manager and check the missing libraries and download them one after another

Thank you for your reply. I had restarted my Mac several times due to Logic freezing during the download.
I restarted in safe mode and the problem persisted.
I reinstalled the library, this time I just downloaded the parts I thought I might use, and I didn't use Logic during the download. This seems to have resolved the problem.
Have you restarted your Mac lately?
Rebooting is the best first step in troubleshooting.
If a simple reboot of your Mac doesn’t fix things, see if the problem still happens in safe mode. Safe mode will often correct weird software behavior by forcing the OS to clear caches, do disk repair and other self-maintenance and housekeeping and temporarily disables third-party mods.

Does the same thing happen while in Safe mode?
You can exit safe mode by restarting your Mac normally, then reevaluate the problem.

I'd also recommend that, if you wish to have access to the remainder of the sound library, go ahead and complete the downloads as your downtime allows, such as when you head off to lunch. That is if you haven't already.
Thank you for your advice. I did that today. I also didn't use Logic during the download, as that causes it to crash.
