Mac Bluetooth not discovering Bose earphones, Logitech mouse, or Targus keyboard

Bluetooth not discovering Bose earphones or Logitech mouse/keyboard (AirPods + Airdrop work)

Hi everyone,

I’m having a strange Bluetooth issue on my Mac.

My Mac can connect to my AirPods and can receive AirDrop from my iPhone, so Bluetooth/Wi-Fi seem to be working in general.

But it cannot discover the following devices at all:

  • Bose earphones
  • Logitech mouse
  • Targus keyboard

I’ve already confirmed these three devices work normally when paired with other computers/phones, so the accessories are not the problem.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Reinstalled macOS Sequoia
  • Restarted the Mac many times
  • Deleted the Bluetooth plist (com.apple.Bluetooth.plist)
  • Reset Bluetooth module
  • Tried pairing in both normal mode and after removing all devices
  • Tested devices in pairing mode near the Mac

None of these helped.

Is there anything else I can try?

Could this be a hardware issue with the Bluetooth chip, or something related to interference?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you! 🙏
