Magic Keyboard connected to MacBook Air but I am not able to Type!

Magic Keyboard connected (showing in the blue tooth connection with Battery at 99percent) yet not typing.

I have done the reset, computer shut downs several times and nothing!

The green light when you use the caps lock also does not seem to come on!

I really could do with some suggestions on what the issue is?

Which exact model is your Apple Magic Keyboard that you are trying to use with your MacBook Air?

The latest is the 6th generation that is designed to work with M-series Macs. However, there are at least, four variations of this keyboard.
