Unable to search for future appointments in Calendar app

Using ios26.1 on iPhone 15Pro - just noticed that I cannot search for future appointments in Calendar App regardless of the view selected. I have been checked settings in Search and Calendar. And I’ve toggled off and then toggled back on calendar.

anyone else have an issue?
