Transfer iPhone data in-store with trade-in?

Hi, I am Nigel from the Netherlands. I want to trade in my old iPhone in an Apple Store and buy a new iPhone there using the trade-in amount as a discount. My question is: Can the data transfer process from my old iPhone to the new iPhone be done in the store during the purchase, so I can pay for the new iPhone with the trade-in value of my old iPhone and transfer my data directly (without using iCloud backup)? I am aware that the process might differ in the Netherlands. Thank you!

So I don't want to reset my iphone before buying the new iPhone.
