Night Shift won't turn on at sunset and off at sunrise on iPhone 17 Pro Max

Hi everyone, I’m experiencing a software bug on my 17 Pro Max since the first day of use. In the Night Shift menu, when setting up the feature with a programmed option, it doesn’t allow me to turn it on at sunset and disable at sunrise, just with specific hours. I tried to restart several times, but nothing. Even with 26.1 nothing changed

Night Shift can be set to automatically turn on at sunset and off at sunrise, but this feature relies on your iPhone knowing the correct local time and location. That means your time zone settings must be accurate.

To ensure Night Shift works properly:

  • Go to Settings > General > Date & Time.
  • Turn on Set Automatically.
  • Make sure Location Services are enabled under Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, since your iPhone uses your location to determine local sunset and sunrise times.

With Automatic Time Zone enabled, your iPhone adjusts to your current region and calculates the correct sunset and sunrise schedule. Without it, Night Shift may not activate or deactivate at the right times.
