Is it my imagination, or are found words on the Apple News Quartile puzzles being removed after a certain period of time? I have had to add words back several times since starting today’s puzzle this morning. I don’t recall this happening before.
I’ve been experiencing this since going to ios 26. Apple definitely has an unresolved bug. I’ve never had this before ios 26.
I just exited Quartiles by clicking the X. Then, I immediately went right back in (I did nothing in between). My score had been reset, my last quartile level was typed, but not entered, and I had to enter subsequent words to restore my previous state.
My wife (using her iPhone) and I (using my iPad), both with iOS 26.1, have this problem. Hers began November 14. Mine began November 15. Both of us still have the problem (it is November 16). Microsoft Copilot calls it a sync issue (between our devices and Apple’s server).
