I’d like to schedule an appointment with the Apple Store at La Encantada in Tucson for migration from my current Mac to a new computer that I will be purchasing

Perform a Time Machine backup of your current Mac. Bring that backup drive, your ID, and proof of ownership to the Tuscon Apple Store. If you do not want to bother with a Time Machine backup, the Apple Store can probably perform a network-based migration assistant handshake between the two Macs. When you book the appointment, ask them which they prefer.
